| Whitetail deer outfitters, how do you choose the right one? The most comforting way for Sportsmen of Michigan is through solid recommendations from friends or well regarded sportsmen. I recently had a unique opportunity of assisting Chad Thelen of Stoney Creek Habitat Specialists, with planting multiple food plots for the owners of Trophy Buck Outfitters, Andy Chandler and Eric Busch. We planted nearly six acres of food plots in various locations near some of the most beautiful and productive whitetail habitat I have ever witnessed. To say Trophy Buck Outfitters has some great deer and habitat on their “fair chase” properties would be a huge understatement. Trail camera photos and sightings of monster bucks were the only proof necessary to make Trophy Buck Outfitters my choice to hunt with. I can tell you personally that there are many bucks ranging from 150 to 200 inches on their properties. Trophy Buck Outfitters of Hillview, Illinois is nestled in a beautiful draw between the bluffs and the bottoms of the Illinois River. Their lodge is a comfortable, spacious and has all the accommodations to make your hunt more than enjoyable. Take along several of your hunting partners and fill one side of the lodge to create an atmosphere of having your own camp. I can tell you that Andy, Eric and their staff work very hard to provide their hunters with an outstanding hunt and a strong possibility of harvesting a record book buck. With nearly one hundred tree stands set up on several different farms in Greene county and by limiting the number of hunters they take each week, Trophy Buck Outfitters is very careful not to put too much hunting pressure on their properties. Safety for their clients is an obvious concern of theirs. The tree stands we helped hang were professionally manufactured and had large platforms. Ladder, hang-on or tripods stands are utilized depending on the site. Sportsmen of Michigan recommends Trophy Buck Outfitters with confidence and feels that if you book a hunt with them you will be satisfied with your choice and you may have an opportunity to harvest the “buck of a lifetime”.
